Serving size 4

  • 2 lbs chicken breast (cut into cubes)
  • 1 pinch Silk Road Saffron
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup water 


Sauté onions in pot with oil until lightly caramelized. Then add chicken and garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and cover pot with lid and let cook for 10 minutes. Remove lid and continue cooking for additional 10 minutes or until chicken is tender and sauce is to a consistency of your liking. Best served over rice.
